Local Tasting Tours

Culinary walking tours of various downtown Halifax neighborhoods, led by entertaining local guides, featuring delicious samples at locally owned eateries.  $40–65, food & drink included. 

From ethnic dishes to local crafted beer to hand-crafted chocolates, enjoy delectable culinary tastings on this walking food tour while learning about the city's exciting culture and exploring one-of-a-kind restaurants in historic downtown Halifax.

During May to October, tours depart daily at 1:30 pm from: the Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market (Tuesday–Thursday); Prince George Hotel (Sunday–Monday); Ratinaud French Cuisine (Friday–Saturday); and at 7:00 pm from the Oxford Theatre on Quinpool Road (Wednesday–Saturday), rain or shine. During April to November, tours depart from the Hydrostone District. A maximum of 12–16 people are permitted per tour, therefore reservations are recommended.
