Add your listing

How do i list or claim a listing?

First off: Listing with us is free!!

Second: You may already be listed with us.

Third: To bad you are not listed with us it’s free!!

Fourth: Listing with us is free!!

I Know, I Know, I said that already?? I will STOP! The instructions below will tell you how to fix #2 & #3 above...

#1 & #4 can not be fixed, and I am sure that makes you happy…

This is going to be easy even I could do it!

How do i find out if i have a listing already

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you check first to see if you are listed with us.

First the easy way - If you are within 100K of the property locations you can click Nearby Places in the top Menu.

Now check the distance setting on the left to be sure your place is with in the zone and if not change the distance. ALSO uncheck the boxes of what you are not looking for. This will reduce the load time.

Now zoom into your location and check listings to see if you are there...Then follow the rest of the directions in the white box below OR If you are out of the zone follow the rest of the directions. :)

Go to the HOME page of the site. Find TRAVEL INFORMATION in the menu at the top, then from the drop-down select the category your business should be in i.e. Accommodations or Restaurants etc. and click to open.

The following map will have all the listings in that category for all Provinces.

Move in on the map until you find the area you are in and click the bubbles to see if you are there. You can move the map around by clicking and dragging or with your figures if it’s a touch screen or phone.

We used GPS coordinates on installation so your place should be very close to its true location.

Now the FUN PART!

No matter what category you fall in either Retrieving or Creating you are required to have a user account. This is to protect your site as it is yours to use and enjoy.

Did I Mention that was free too, and we do not ask for personal information?

Yes, I found and must retrieve my listing free!Sadly No, Now I must go and create my listing free!

OK so you want to retrieve a listing. Let’s start with retrieving your login.

  1. Click on login at the footer of this site
  2. Then click lost password
  3. Enter your company email you use. If that is not recognized use a previous email if you had one. You can change this later.
  4. If you have no luck, then do the following.
  5. Contact email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  6. Give him the name of the business and location and he will email back your login. Oh yeah that is free too.
  7. If all went well and your email was excepted, you should receive a link in that email to enter a new password
  8. Once you have your login and you use it to login and gain access you will see a user menu that has a link to your listing. Click the link and click on manage.
  9. There you have the option to remove your listing or edit your listing. You will be amazed at the info you can put into your site and change things regularly like special events and so on. Along with pictures.

Oh Boy we are about to create a listing! Let’s start with making a user login.

  1. Click on login at the bottom of this site
  2. Then click on create an account.
  3. There you will see a place for your username and password, but it also wants to know what category you want to be in i.e. accommodations or things to do or restaurants etc.
  4. If you have, for example, a campground and restaurant you can hold the CTRL key and click on both. That way you can create 2 listings 1 in each category. And press save
  5. You will receive an email for conformation.
  6. Once you have confirmed your email your login should work. Use it to gain access and you will see a user menu that has a link to create a listing. Click the link and click on manage.
  7. There you have the option to create your listing for FREE. You will be amazed at the information and pictures you can put into your site and change things regularly like special events and so on.

Karen & Gary in front of Motorhome We’re Karen and Gary and we spend as much time as we can in the summer camping (in comfort) with our “girls”, canines Chessey and Sadie. We love to discover new areas and return to places where we had good times and formed fond memories. We are starting our camping year with summer adventures but as the season cools off, we’ll be looking for winter festivities and cozy hotels/motels/chalets that are dog friendly.

Our vision is to connect with travelers and with people in communities to showcase Atlantic Canada. We will be blogging about our adventures, sharing pictures and stories about our explorations. And we are hoping that you will share yours with us and other travelers, by sending us blogs and comments about the places you have been.

Our mission is to promote Atlantic Canada by providing a site where businesses and communities throughout the Atlantic Provinces will have a chance to communicate to us the travelers what they have to offer. More than that, we want to create a dynamic website encouraging you to visit and revisit for not just information but stories, pictures and to join with other travelers to share your adventures.
