Atlantic Motorsport Park, located near Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia was built in 1974. Occupying a 377 acre site, it is a 2.5km (1.6 mile) 11 turn road circuit. It has been a regular host for a variety of regional and national motorsports events on both two and four wheels. Events include motorcycle road racing, car racing, high performance driving schools, track days, motorcycle riding academies, etc. It is located approximately 40-50 minutes north of Halifax just outside of the town of Shubenacadie. One of AMP's greatest challenges is the downhill "dog-leg" through corners 1 and 2, followed by the roller-coaster ride through corners 4, 5 and 6. It is highly regarded as one of the most technical circuits in the country, and provides a challenging learning experience for both novice and advanced drivers alike.

There is no on-site air or fuel available at the track. Regular pump fuel (87-91 octane) is available 15 minutes away in Shubenacadie.

The track has washrooms and shower facilities. There are grand stands located in corners 2, 3 and 10. Potable water is not available on-site.

There is a mobile canteen on-site at many scheduled events subject to event organizers. So as there is no permanent concession (canteen) on site, there is no guarantee of food or refreshment available. Therefore, you are welcome to bring your own food and refreshments. Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the paddock area until after all racing is finished. Please also note that glass bottles are not permitted at the track.

The closest hotel/motel is in Truro (approx 25 minutes north). From Halifax the hotels at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport and the Inn on the Lake in Fall River being closest. These are about 1/3-1/2 of the way to AMP from Halifax.
