Cobequid Interpretive & Welcome Centre

The Cobequid Interpretive & Welcome Centre, situated in Economy (Highway 2) in the Fundy Shore and the Annapolis Valley region, provides pictures, films and interpretive panels to explain the geology, history and culture of the West Colchester area. The only original World War II Observation Tower in the Maritimes offers a spectacular view of the tides and countryside. There is a large picnic and recreation area on site

The Centre can also provide hiking trail information in Colchester highlighting the river, gorges, and waterfalls in the Economy River Wilderness Area, as well as Thomas’ Cove Coastal Reserve trails. Bus tours are welcome.
