  Celebrate Canada 150 with free admission! Walk in the footsteps of one of Canada's most celebrated authors and immerse yourself in the landscape that inspired the setting of Anne of Green Gables. Part of L.M. Montgomery's Cavendish National Historic Site, Green Gables Heritage Place is truly a national treasure. Explore the original house, 19th century gardens, farmyard, walking trails, including the Haunted Wood and Lovers Lane, gift shop and The Butter Churn Café. In July and August, enjoy animated bilingual interpretive activities and meet Anne Shirley! Group reservations requested. Visit our website for more information. Daily, 9 am-5 pm.
