St. Ninian’s Cathedral is a beautiful example of 19th century Romanesque architecture. Construction on the cathedral ended in 1874, however the building was not granted cathedral status until 1886. The interior, designed by Parisian educated artist Ozias LeDuc, contains spectacular frescoes and detailed woodwork. Guided tours by appointment; bus tours are welcome.
