The Windjammer is a cozy motel where you can truly enjoy the relaxing ambiance of Chester, one of the prettiest villages along the South Shore region of Nova Scotia. Being known as a vacation and sailing destination, Chester offers everything you need for a weekend getaway, from the scenic ocean to serene beaches, local seafood restaurants, and a wide array of year-round activities. Most activities in Chester are within a short distance of our motel, such as sailing, boat charters, bicycle rentals, sea kayaking, and golf at the Chester Golf Club.

The Chester Yacht Club is famous for its regattas, and the Chester Playhouse offers evening performances all summer with intermittent shows in the spring and fall seasons. Take a drive along the South shore where many of Nova Scotia's most scenic coastal vistas and historic attractions can be found, such as Mahone Bay's picturesque Three Churches and the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg.

Our accommodation includes a total of 14 units (single, double, twin or queen beds) with 4-piece bath, cable television, wireless Internet, telephone, and a small fridge. All of the units are non-smoking, eight are air-conditioned, and eight have a DVD player and free movies. All units are on the ground floor with parking available in front of each unit. Other amenities include picnic tables and barbecues.
